Emmaline Ellison, MT-BC, NMT
Music Therapist
Emma graduated from Colorado State University with her masters in music therapy in Spring of 2023. Last summer she completed her internship at Foundation Music School in Fort Collins, CO, finishing in December of 2022. There, Emma worked with children and young adults with various intellectual and developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, as well as speech delays and hearing deficits. Emma’s approach to therapy from a humanistic and holistic lens, with inform from neurologic music therapy. Her emphasis is to support the whole person first, and help clients reach their highest potential by understanding how music can best support their goals and brain functioning.
When not in sessions, Emma enjoys spending time with her cat, Tostada, reading books or audiobooks, and cross-stitching flowers or nature scenes. Emma is thrilled to be joining the team at The Child and Family Therapy Center of Denver to support the families that make up our community!
